New Reference Center Report: Salary History Inquiry Restrictions

As mentioned a few weeks ago, we have a busy summer with the release of new Reference Center reports planned. Today, we are excited to announce the release of the new Reference Center report “Salary History Inquiry Restrictions.” This report covers requirements for requesting salary or wage history information from job applicants and answers the questions:

• What terms are defined by salary history inquiry laws?
• What limitations are there for an employer’s use of an applicant’s wage or salary history?
• Are there exceptions to the salary history inquiry restrictions?
• What restrictions are there if an applicant voluntarily discloses salary history information?
