Navigator OT Questionnaire Checklist
Navigator OT is ComplianceHR's solution that helps identify the risk of classifying a position as either exempt or non-exempt. As part of the evaluation, a questionnaire covering the position’s compensation, job duties, and education, along with some general company information, must be completed. We received feedback from our customers that it would be helpful to know what information will be asked ahead of time so they can be prepared to complete the questionnaire in its entirety. As a result, to make answering the questionnaire easier for you, we compiled the following checklist of information we recommend gathering prior to beginning the questionnaire.

Compensation Details
- Details about how the position is paid
Job Description
- A current copy of the job description
- The number of employees supervised, if applicable
Education
- Average education level attained (specific degree type can be helpful)
- Current training status (e.g., if the employee in training)
Company Administration
- Approximate number of employees
- Use of manuals, templates, or guidelines that are job specific (not codes of ethics or conduct or general personnel policies)
