Helpful Hint: Compare Feature on Reports

Have you ever wished you could use our solutions to compare a single topic in one jurisdiction to a second jurisdiction without having to click away from the first jurisdiction's content? If so, you’re in luck! The Minimum Wage Report we released earlier this year includes a helpful feature that gives you a fast and easy way to generate side-by-side comparisons. Spoiler alert: This feature will also be a part of our new Reference Center Reports that are currently in development!

To use the compare feature in the Minimum Wage Report, select one of the jurisdictions you would like to compare and expand the content. Then click on the blue arrows next to the topic you are interested in:

2023 Is Just Around the Corner

Even though it’s hard for some of us to believe, Thanksgiving has passed, and it will be 2023 before we know it! We understand this can be a hectic and stressful time of year for our customers, so we want to reassure you that we are here to help you with your compliance needs.

Like previous years, there will be employment law changes taking effect in 2023. Littler’s Insight, “Employment Law Update 2023: New Compliance Obligations for the New Year,” provides a brief look at some of the employment law changes that will occur. Navigator OT Questionnaire Checklist

Navigator OT is ComplianceHR's solution that helps identify the risk of classifying a position as either exempt or non-exempt. As part of the evaluation, a questionnaire covering the position’s compensation, job duties, and education, along with some general company information, must be completed. We received feedback from our customers that it would be helpful to know what information will be asked ahead of time so they can be prepared to complete the questionnaire in its entirety. Important Poster Update

We love to keep our customers up to date on what’s happening in employment law, so we want to make sure you are aware of a change that took place last week. Did you know that the EEOC updated the “Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal” poster? As a result, your copy of the poster needs to be updated to make sure your organization is in compliance. Don’t forget to update any electronic copy of the poster your organization may use in addition to the physical copies posted at your work sites.
